Organism Icon Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Sample Icon No Downloadable Samples
Technology Badge IconNextSeq 500

Submitter Supplied Information

Description
The functional relevance of phosphosites currently lacks a systematic assessment. Here a large number of S. cerevisiae phosphosites are mutated to alanine and its impact on cellular fitness is measured. Gene expression changes between strains harbouring the mutated phosphosites is compared against the wild type and the corresponding gene deletion. Overall design: Each sample has been analyzed in triplicate. All samples were harvested when cultures reached O.D. of 0.4 (at 600 nanometers).
