RNA-seq was performed on the nucleus accumbens of female (F) interval-specific congenic strain-B (P.NP-ISCS-B) and inbred alcohol preferring (iP) control rat Overall design: Total RNA was isolated from nucleus accumbens (NA) of female alcohol naive interval-specific congenic (ISCS) and control iP rats. Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Preparation was performed following manufacturer's protocol. Samples were run on an Illumina HiSeq 2000 in triplicate.
