Description
In a forward genetic screen designed to identify factors important for alternative splicing in Arabidopsis thaliana, we identified mutations in the putative U1 snRNP protein PRP39-1. We performed RNA-seq analysis on two independent loss-of-function alleles and identified a number of endogenous genes that are affected in their alternative splicing (AS) patterns.
