Description
Production of high-quality meat is important to satisfy the consumer and make the porcine industry competitive. It is evident that muscle fiber types between different breeds were the unignored factor to influence the pork quality, but the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. In current study, we therefore examined the global expressions of protein coding transcripts and non-coding RNAs such as miRNA, lncRNA and circRNA in the longissimus dorsi of Landrace and Lantang pigs using Ribo-Zero RNA-Seq.
