Description
Chromatin remodeling is essential in controlling diverse biological processes, and SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling factors have been reported involved in ABA signaling in A. thaliana. However, the roles it plays in maize to abiotic stress is not clear. Here, we presented a maize SWI3 protein, ZmCHB101, in abiotic stress by showing that knockdown of maize ZmCHB101 gene resulted in a wide transcriptional reprograming in the ZmCHB101 knockdown plants under mock, salt as well as mannitol treatment.
