Zea mays Transcriptome or Gene expression

Transcriptomes of mechanically enriched bundle sheath and mesophyll tissues in a developing maize leaf were sequenced. Differences in expression of tissue types during development are used to understand development of C4 photosynthesis during leaf ontogeny.
