Memory induced brain transcriptome of Nasonia vitripennis

This N. vitripennis transcriptome was assembled to study the differential expression between brains of N. vitripennis wasps with or without memory conditioning. These results were compared to those of N. giraulti strain RV2x(U) using the same experimental setup. In this way the natural variation in memory formation between both closely related wasps could be studied, thereby gaining insight on the evolution of memory dynamics.
