Description
We provide the first transcritome-wide assessment of the level of inter-strain polymorphism in Ae. aegypti. The suite of SNPs here analysed provides the basis for genome-scan association studies using CTM and RexD mosquitoes and aimed at understanding the genetic mechanisms of vector competence.
