Description
Monocyte-derived macrophages were isolated from blood of 12 Norwegian Red cows and kept in in vitro culture. The cells from each individual were divided into three groups, i.e. one group of cells were infected with S. agalactiae ST12, one group with the ST103 strain, and the third group of cells were left uninfected as a negative control. The cells from each group were harvested after 6 hours and RNA was isolated
